HR records the employee's biometric consent and issues a QR badge. The employee enrols their face on a kiosk in under a minute; only a face template is kept, never the photos.

Scan in and out
Badge, blink, done. The server decides whether it is a clock-in or a clock-out, ignores accidental repeat scans and closes forgotten sessions for review.

Keep working offline
If the network drops, kiosks ask "in or out?", queue the punch and sync it later. Late punches are slotted into the timeline in the right order, and anything ambiguous is flagged.
